Sub-Contractor Agreement

This agreement made this day of (month) , 20 by and between Jeff Key, of Crescent Carpentry Inc herein referred to as “owner” (subcontractor name), and, of (subcontractor business name) referred to as “sub-contractor”.  


 

Crescent carpentry, inc agrees to pay the above subcontractor ____________per______________.

 

Subcontractor shall furnish all labor and tools needed to complete upon the following job description:

 

    Duties of the subcontractor:   

__1) the subcontractor shall be obligated to the contractor for the performance of all such duties and/ or work as described above.

 

__2) the subcontractor shall assist the contractor and shall perform any and all services requested in connection with the contractors business.

 

__3) the subcontractor shall devote, during the term of this agreement, such of his time, energy, and skill as is necessary in the performance of his duties and shall at any time, upon the request of the contractor, submit data as to the time of work performed in connection with this agreement.

 

__4) the contractor shall NOT withhold from sums any amounts for state or federal income tax, or FICA taxes, therefore the subcontractor is responsible for all income taxes owed.

 

__5) the subcontractor shall not be considered as having an employee status or as being entitled to any employee benefits.

 

__6) the subcontractor is responsible for carrying general liability insurance and is to provide proof of upon contractor’s request.

 

__7 this agreement shall be terminated at any time, with or without cause, by either party upon written notice.
